Beverley Literature Festival
presents an exciting Summer preview of events including: walks in the East Riding countryside to help you explore how different ways of reading the landscape can enrich your own writing, led by poet and archaeologist Peter Didsbury, and ecologist Kieran Sheehan (7 Jun, £8); Bernard ODonoghue (St Marys Parish Hall, 7.30pm, £5); The Classics Readers Day where four authors discuss their favourite books, featuring Bernard ODonoghue, Nigel Forde, Robert Edric and Fiona Shaw. The morning will be divided into panel discussions and readers groups (Harbour Suite, Bridlington Spa, 10am-1pm, £5). |
